Located off the main Manu road and away from crowds, the Amazon Pona Lodge its surrounded by healthy forest and offering great wildlife encounters, like Woolly Monkeys, Brown Capuchin Monkeys, toucans, wild pigs and a host of other colorful birds also inhabit the surrounding forest.
It consists confortables double-occupancy, single wooden bungalows with private bath facilities, and a separate complex with a large dining room. A local family staffs the lodge,and patrolling the private reserve.
